Cabaret Chair Dancing Course
with Sapphire Demure

6-week course, six 1-hour sessions over six weeks.

Course Description

Jump into the hot seat and experience a fun and sassy burlesque class that will have you looking at your household chairs in a whole new light.
During this course you will get to learn a whole range of different dance styles that will not only make you feel like a sexy burlesquette but stretch your flexibility and give you a fab abdominal workout.

Sapphire Demure will guide you through a series of  jazzy routines mixed with styles from Kitsch caberet of European theatre  to the more modern and sexy moves of a burlesque pussy cat doll.
Each week you will get to learn a different style on the chair and also learn  one incredibly smoking hot group choreography of which you may have the opportunity of perform a Sugar Blue graduation show. ( only if you want to)
Plus you get the chance to design and decorate your very own chair especially to match your own caberet character.

This is perfect for any one that has done any drop in burlesque classes or just always wanted to learn the art of dancing with the chair.
All you need is a a pair of fishnets and a great attitude then you can feel free to  explore what it means to be a strong, sexy and confident woman with the element of tease right in the palm of your hand , or in the seat of your chair!

Week 2  Pussy Cat Burlesque doll fever
Week 3  Come to Ze Caberet! European theatre chair dance
Week 4  50s  Pin up girly chair dance and group choreo
Week 5  Design your personal chair and group choreo
Week 6  Refining chair technique and group choreography

What to Wear

Loose, cool, comfortable clothing and comfortable heels recommended (but not essential!)

Restrictions

Places for this course are limited. Only 15 spots available.
This course is for women only and any age. 
No experience whatsoever is needed to take the course, it's perfect for all ages, shapes and persuasions! All levels of skill can be catered to, whether you're a dancer/actor/performer or have never taken a dance class in your life, either way, you'll finish the course as a sassy cabaret chair dancer!

*Please note, if you are under 18 yrs old and do this course, you will not be able to perform in the fresh faced follies show at the end of the course as this show will be at the Bakery, which is a license venue. There will be no exceptions.
