Full-day vintage style workshop and glamour photographic shoot,
brought to you by Sugar Blue Burlesque and David Woolley Photography.

Workshop Description
Sneak a peek at the history of fashion, hair and makeup from the 1920s to the 1950s! Learn the tricks of the trade to transform yourself into a 1920s vamp or flapper, an elegant 1930s starlet, a glamorous 1940s siren or a sassy 1950s pinup! Learn authentic hairstyling techniques, explore glamorous vintage makeup styles and learn about the fashions from these fabulous decades! Perfect for swing dancers, costume historians, performers, pinups, lovers of the vintage look, as inspiration for weddings and balls, or just for fun!You will be transformed into a vintage pinup in the morning, then indulge in a glamorous photographic session with professional photographer David Woolley in the afternoon. David is the spectacular photographer responsible for many of Sugar Blue Burlesque's stunning photographs, and specialises in the vintage style we love! Included in the package is one free print of your choice from your photo shoot, and you will be able to purchase further prints from David at a fabulous 50% discount.

Sunday March 28th workshop has a 1950s Housewife pin up theme, meaning there will be some props and accessories available to create this cheeky and pin up style! Plus professional posing tips and advice from David Woolley, who guarantees that he can make every woman look like a Vintage pin up!Bring along your favourite 50s style dress or even lingerie to wear behind our aprons...
There will also be the luxury set available to be shot against on the day if 50s housewife is not your thing! Feel like a starlet, lying on the gold chaise lounge or pose like a burlesque queen against the opulent red curtains!
What to Wear/Bring
A light lunch is provided. Bring along all your own cosmetics and hair products, false eyelashes, plus hot rollers if you own any. Some hair and makeup supplies will be provided. Also bring anything that you would like to be photographed in, especially clothing and lingerie in the vintage style, shoes and accessories like vintage hats, furs, jewellery, gloves, etc - this is relevant for the opulent/luxury themed sets. You will also have access to some accessories and props belonging to David Woolley and to Sugar Blue Burlesque. Note: You will be photographed in one look only.Price

GST) for the full-day workshop and photo shoot.Included in the package is one free 8" x 12" (Valued at $100) print of your choice from your photo shoot, and you will be able to purchase further prints from David Woolley at a 50% discount. Prints are only $30.00 for 6" x 4" , 7 " x 5" are $40.00, and 8" x 12" are $50.00 after the discount - that's amazing!
As this workshop is extremely popular and there are very limited places, payment is required before the workshop, to confirm your booking.
